Indian cuisine dates back to many thousand years. While Ved mentions various foods, their usage, and their importance, Bhagavad Gita describes certain dietary practices. These are just a few of many such examples. India was also the one to introduce vegetarianism to the world!

In the food culture of India, people give a lot of importance to food rituals and elaborate preparations. Indians express their love, devotion and brotherhood through the food they offer and serve. This course shall take the viewers on a delicious journey of knowing the history and the philosophy behind the varied cuisines of India.
